"We're definitely becoming greener" was the message from Assistant Centre Manager André Philipsen this week.
He went on to say that CO2 emissions from the use of fossil fuels had again significantly reduced in 2009, falling by 87.6 tonnes. This capitalised on a reduction of 19.6 tonnes in 2008; making a reduction of 107.2 tonnes in two years.
The centre continues to look in all areas, for ways to make shopping at the town centre scheme more sustainable.
