General Manager Simon Green was recently appointed as Chair of the LBBD Skills, Jobs and Enterprise Board.
The vision of the board, over the next ten years is to:
- Build a vibrant economy with an aspiration to stimulate the creation of 10,000 net new jobs and help local people to develop the skills to compete for them.
- Improve the quality of life for residents with an ambition to provide 15,000 well designed high quality homes at all levels of affordability, strengthen our town centres and improve our open spaces.
- Establish the Borough as an exemplar for environmental sustainability.
